 Avalanche Skills Training

Island Alpine Guides Avalanche Courses are taught to Canadian Avalanche Center Standards using CAC curriculum. In addition, Jan and Cliff are active ACMG guides & CAA ITP Level II graduates with nearly 25 years of heli-ski and Ski Tour guiding between them meaning that you get a lot of experience along with your theory on these courses! IAG distinguishes itself amongst all AST course providers by insisting that all of our instructors are Level II certified, certified by the ACMG to ski guide and active in the forecasting profession.
