The Vancouver Island Section of the Alpine Club of Canada is running a three-day rock climbing workshop, July 7-9, at Crest Creek Crags. On day one, the club has requested that our Association of Canadian Mountain Guides certified instructors lay a solid foundation for the three days with a day of professional instruction. We'll cover various belaying methods, a sensible backed-up approach to rappelling, anchor building with both in-situ protection and removable protection, and anything else that the group wishes and we have time for.

Guide(s), use of group technical equipment including protection, ropes, etc. We have a limited selection of rock shoes available for those who request them in advance.
