Ski helicopter

Weekend Heli-Accessed Ski Tour

Access untouched and remote ski terrain by helicopter on this overnight trip into Vancouver Island's stunning backcountry.

After a swift heli-drop in, spend two days exploring some of the best ski terrain the Island has to offer. Guided by an ACMG-certified guide, participants will have options of circuit tours, or descents on multiple aspects, as determined by conditions of the day. After a solid day of skiing on day two, the helicopter will whisk you out.

You should be an advanced skier or snowboarder in natural snow conditions to sign up for a posted trip. If your skiing ability is less than this, please get in touch so that we can create a compatible group for you. If you don't own your own touring gear, Ski Tak Hut offers 25% off rentals for all Island Alpine Guides customers while on one of our trips.
